Babes Ride Out is thrilled to partner with Harley-Davidson to present our 2nd annual Babes in Deadwood July 10-13th 2025 in Lead, SD. That's right! 3 nights and 4 days! Designed intentionally, this smaller style event was built to strengthen community and put your wheels in motion by re-discovering places and spaces in our own unique way. If you are ready to ride motorcycles through some of the most gorgeous and awe inspiring landscapes in the world, we welcome you to join us in a brand new series of events we are adding to our Babes Ride Out line up with Harley-Davidson.  

So what's the new venue like & what's the vibe? We are so excited to have much more space for campers and have a hotel + cabins + restaurant + bar + open air pavilion all on site! The location is unreal and right next to one of our favorite rides through Spearfish Canyon and short rip to Deadwood proper. The area is rich in wild west history and we plan to showcase it all. Our absolute favorite thing is the open roads with hardly any traffic on them as we traverse Iron Mountain and Needles Highway, usually so congested during Sturgis you can barely move. Because our dates are before the massive take over, you can take a soulful ride through Lakota Nation and the vast Badlands on a Harley-Davidson demo or go on a guided tour with the Pan America experience off-road on hard packed 2 track that brings you into the wild wilderness areas that remain untouched during peak riding conditions.

Sturgis but make it Babes Ride Out. We are thrilled to take over Recreational Springs Resort right next to Spear Fish Canyon and the incredible town of Deadwood, SD for a weekend of riding motorcycles and connecting on a different level. This is a much different event than our larger ones, so make sure to give this page a good read to ensure it's your kind of "good time". We are making it EASY and have a full bar and restaurant on site for you + an amazing hang zone we can gather at. This new location has way more camping, hotel rooms, small cabins, and so so much more!

  • Tickets and accommodations are VERY different for this event. Please make sure to read the info per purchase and FAQ beforehand. 
  • We will have room for cars / trucks / RV's and more! Please check the below for the appropriate pass. 
  • The below accommodations are for Thurs - Sun (check in Thurs, check out Sunday) and all tax, resort fees, etc. are included in final price. FAQ

What's with admission tickets and add on cabins / hotel rooms and parking for cars? Break it down for me! 

No problem! Every single person who comes onto the property MUST have an admission ticket. The admission ticket covers (1) person and includes motorcycle camping automatically. You are able to ADD ON a hotel room or cabin (all are on site in the main areas). The cabins and hotel rooms do NOT include admission or car/truck parking. This makes it much more affordable (yay!) for the purchaser and means if you come solo and want a room, you are only buying (1) admission ticket + the hotel room. If you are getting a room and have multiple people staying in the room you + each person staying in the hotel room has an admission ticket. If you are driving a car, truck, or have small moto hauler, no matter if you are camping, hoteling, or staying in cabin, make sure to add the purchase of a vehicle pass for the extra space you'll need. 

Day passes are simply the admission ticket & we have no special rates for those staying off site due to the extra amenities needed to host ya! 

Can I have my husband, BF, come?  No husbands, boyfriends, family, friends, allowed on property. 

What's the difference between this event and the other events? This is the smallest street event we have ever produced and priced accordingly. There won't be any workshops, typical entertainment you'd see at the events we do for over 750 gals. We are there to RIDE so all distractions have been stripped down to focus on campfire hangs, meeting each other, and enjoying the landscape. If you have to get your party on, Deadwood is a 13 min taxi away. 

Event vibe: This weekend is about getting out and riding the many routes around the area for hundreds of miles during the day and enjoying some quality time together when the sun sets. We hope this event makes you feel limitless on where you can ride, who you can meet, and the future of your two wheel journey! In our eyes, you are already a badass for coming this far to ride with us! 

What's with food, water, gas, fun drinks? Glad you asked! There is an onsite restaurant, bar, giant pavilion / hang zone, camp store, and on site gas purchase to make it even easier! 

The rooms & camping sold out! Can I still come and enjoy the riding in the area? Once we are sold out, we are sold. 

Tell me more about the camping situation: Of course! It's a level area with some trees along the outer areas + shower and bath house. 

Can I get a refund? No, not under any circumstance can we refund your purchase or transfer it to another event. You have an option to add accommodation protection offered by a 3rd party at check out so no excuses babes! 

What's up with the Harley-Davidson demo? Harley-Davidson is bringing their demo fleet for you to experience! It's so much fun to try ALL the bikes on roads you'd actually be taking them on instead of parking lots and congested city streets. Demos route through Spearfish Canyon and last (1) hour to (1.5) hours. Please note if you want a bike for the event (which we 100% recommend so you can rip the most iconic areas) google rental places in Rapid City, South Dakota to see what's available to you!

What's up with the Pan America experience!? Oh man...it's SO GOOD! Harley is sending their off-road team to be with us in Deadwood and are taking YOU out on guided rides on hard packed roads that are a bit off the grid. You'll be immersed in nature and have the best team to support you. We will send out more info to those interested soon but this is your chance to ride a ADV bike in the absolute best environment possible. 

Can I transfer my room / camping spot to another rider? Yes! You are able to transfer your accommodation to another rider. Simply log in to your account OR look for the TRANSFER TICKETS (even though it’s an accommodation) in the upper right-hand corner of this page and complete the process. The price of the accommodation minus a $5 processing fee will be refunded to the original user. There is no option to edit the name on your reservation after you have purchased so please make sure it matches the ID you will have on hand at the time of the event.

I have never been, what's it like? Will I have fun? We want to be 100% transparent as we have new riders join us every year (which is awesome). Here is the nitty gritty:  This is a true riding event. If you do not like riding motorcycles or enjoy being around other people you will NOT have a good time. 

What bikes are welcome? I am not a rider yet sooo? ALL BIKES WELCOME AND NON RIDERS WELCOME TOO! 

I am only coming for 1 night; do I get a discount? Sorry! All accommodations / passes are Thurs-Sun with no exceptions. 

What is up with food, water, gas? The new location has a restaurant, bar, camp store, and gas station ON SITE!!!!  We know.. amazing!

I want to shoot, take video, do a social media takeover for this event for a brand, magazine, online editorial, etc. Do I need permission? This is a private event so no outside commercial use.

Can I bring my kids and pets? Nope, the event is not kid / pet friendly :(

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Must be 18+ to attend and have valid ID to have a drink. 

What CAN'T I bring to the event? Weapons, signage, flags, banners, fireworks, pets, kids, a bad attitude, hand-outs for a brand or marketing materials of any kind.

I am transgender, transitioning or consider myself non-binary, am I still welcome to come? 100% yes! “Ladies Only” is the best we have found to make it clear who this event is geared for. We understand that gender is fluid and trust that the moto community can make the distinction as they have over our past 12 years hosting the events. 

Zero Tolerance: All Babes Ride Out events have a zero-tolerance policy for any hate speech or violence whatsoever. We have never had a problem with this at any of our events but we feel that it is important to reiterate that racism, homophobia, bigotry, aggressive behavior towards anyone and/or anything that resembles it is not welcome ever at any of our events.
