General run of the weekend

Thursday: Check in is anytime after 3PM. When you arrive, unpack and relax! You will be welcomed to a family style taco dinner at 6:30PM and meet & greet with trail guides and hosts that evening.

Friday: We have a mandatory safety meeting before we divide into groups based on your skill set then head out for the trails straight from The Outpost! Snacks are provided and will be enjoyed trailside in the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest. The groups will be back at The Outpost in the early afternoon so you can hang at the lake etc. before an early dinner. In the evening, a campfire awaits to share stories from the day and if you choose, advanced and intermediate riders can gear up for the night ride that evening. This will not be novice friendly*

Saturday: Round 2 of our trail rides! Same format as Friday but all new trails & challenges! If you want to move into a tougher group or dial down to a more chill ride, you can absolutely do so. Dinner and the awards ceremony follows that night at the Moose Lodge!

Sunday: You are welcome to hit the trails on your own, hang at the lake, cruise into town or whatever your heart desires. Checkout is not until 12PM so enjoy yourself or hit the road, whatever you would like. Want to stay longer? You are more than welcome to contact the Outpost directly to extend your stay if you wish!

Terrain & more info on trail rides: Our goal is for you to have a great time, ride some epic trails and challenge you mentally and physically. There will be 3 groups of 8 riders + lead rider, sweep rider, support rider mid-pack and a medical plan with recovery on standby. The routes are curated to and for your riding ability. Rides range between 30 & 60 miles per day depending on the group’s ability and expect to be out on the trails from about 9AM early afternoon (2PM-4PM) with plenty of breaks +  & snacks. If you don't feel challenged enough, you can setup to the next group and if you feel way too challenged or exhausted from day 1 you can also step down. The main thing here is "make good decisions for yourself" because if you do not, you will be putting yourself and the group at major risk.

Not Beginner Friendly: If you have never been on a dirt bike we recommend attending our larger event that has proper training, Babes in the Dirt in October. If you only have street experience, you are still a beginner on dirt and this event would still be too technical for those with only street experience to enjoy.

Novice / Lower Intermediate:  If you have ridden a dirt bike specifically at least 20 times this is the best group to start in. You'd be riding scenic 2-track & fire roads, seeing beautiful vistas, creeks and streams plus plenty of off-shoots to get a little terrain change. Some light rocky sections and soft sandy patches but mostly hard packed....unless you want to ramp it up! This is the only riding group that allows ADV machines.

Intermediate: You'd need a few years of dedicated dirt experience before you sign up for this one! Technical single track with very little riding on fire roads. We will be ripping to water holes,  steeper hill climbs and rocky steep downhills. Off-shoot options will provide more of a challenge if you’re up for it. We are not messing around Babes... this is into the fire style with not much warm up. No ADV on this route unless you have your pro card.

Advanced Rides: The most challenging trails on the mountain! Rock gardens, technical single track, super steep hill climbs, super steep zip zag 0 traction downhills, logs (big ones!) and water crossings. If you have always wanted to try the most technical stuff up in Big Bear, then this is the time. You will have a crew of Babes + trail guide, and sweep. No ADV on this route.

Other Things: Be prepared to be hot, sweaty, and WORKED. If you are not strong or have a hard time lifting your own bike, we recommend hitting the gym NOW to get your mind and body ready for a weekend of extreme effort. Start super hydrating at least 3 days prior and do not forget to add the largest bladder you can find to your trail pack. If you run out of water on the trail, it will force the entire group to head back so make sure you are 100% self contained with nutrition, water, and the mental and physical capabilities needed to take on this kind of adventure.

What kind of bike: Registered, plated, and insured. It better not be an Amazon fake plate, we check babes and we don't want anyone's bike shutting down the entire event if the forestry service pulls you over. This event is best for Dual Sports / plated dirt bikes. No ADVS on intermediate or advanced sections.

Trail Training / Support: Let's get REAL honest here <3

We do want to make one thing super clear. If you need help picking up your bike a few times, advice with a certain line selection, some encouragement, or just super worked and need one of us to get your bike down a steep hill or up an even steeper one etc. ( a few times ), we can 100% help you if you ask. If this continues it means "Donny, you're out of your element!!!" EVERYONE needs help on the trial at this event at every level (except Jolene) but what is not ok is giving up, having a tantrum, expecting immediate help & standing there pouting with 0 verbal communication to what the issue is, and not trying. If you start giving up on the trail and making yourself a constant liability to yourself & those around you, you will be escorted back to camp so make a really good decision when you sign up for your group based on your fitness level first and your skill level second. We are here with support & want you to know we got you but there is a limit due to safety for yourself and others.
