Do I need my M1 (motorcycle license /permit) ? YES! This is mandatory and you won' t be able to register without one. No ifs ands or buts as we can't "hold a spot" for anyone who doesn't have their M1 upon registration. 

What's with tickets? What are the accommodations? Every single person who is attending must have an admission ticket. From there, you can add on site camping or purchase an on site cabin OR stay off site in nearby Fawnskin. Once we sell out of admission tickets, we are truly sold out of spots. 

What should I bring?

• Your own street legal dirt bike unless using one of our bikes
• Full riding gear (head to toe)
• Full tank of gas plus full gas can for day 2 unless using our bikes
• A large hydration pack or something that allows you to easily pack water with you out on the trails. You will go through 2+ liters a day and the worst is when a gal doesn't bring enough forcing the entire group to head back to camp so please make this a priority.
• Bike registration + vehicle Insurance card + health insurance card + drivers license 
• We recommend bringing tools that are appropriate for your bike including spare clutch levers, spare tire tube etc. 

What bikes are welcome?  This is a dual sport only weekend so your bike must have a license plate (legally) and up to date with registration. We recommend street legal dirt-bikes vs adventure bikes or heavier bikes as the routes we have chosen aren't meant for ADV.

Do you rent bikes? We have (6) 2025 FE 350 Heritage motos! If you want to take it home with you, you'll be refunded the rental fee <3 Want to pre qualify and get the total price? Email [email protected] and we will ensure you get the BEST deal possible on this bike. We swear by the FE 350, it can do it all and is the ultimate bike for CA riding (you can ride it ANYWHERE & at ANY TIME!). 

Will there be anything I can eat if vegan? Sadly we are not able to accommodate all dietary restrictions. Below are the dinners. 

• Thurs: Taco cart (carne, vegetarian, chicken) vegetarian and gluten free friendly but no vegan option
• Friday: Tostada bowl (chicken or vegetarian) vegetarian and gluten free friendly but no vegan option 
• Saturday: Loaded baked potato bar vegetarian and gluten free friendly but no vegan option

Will there be mechanics on site? No, any bike related issues including flat tires, broken levers, etc. will be up to you to resolve. We strongly suggest a full maintenance on your bike before you attend and use the opportunity to learn some trailside maintenance to resolve anything you might encounter. 

Explain the skill set needed to participate: This adventure is for capable off-road motorcyclists.  We will spend very little time on paved roads (hence the need for your M1). We will be able to cater the rides to group skill set but you should be very comfortable in a wide variety of terrain already including rocks, sand, and hills with prior dirt bike specific riding time of at least 2 years under your belt. Never ridden a dirt bike? Have ridden street for 10+ years but not much dirt? We recommend coming to Babes in the Dirt in Oct as this event would not be suited for ya. 

What's up with the price? We pay our entire staff and charge what the event costs to make happen (many line items), not a penny more. 

Will there be training included on site for all the groups? This is for babes who are ready to hit the trails! The guides will ONLY give you help if you ask for it. No one is going to jump in and try to tell you what to do (which is refreshing) & we want to give you time to look at each obstacle & problem solve. There is no shame in asking "What gear should I hit that hill climb in", "What line do you suggest", "How do I need to position for the best traction on that smooth granite up and over". WE ARE HERE FOR IT! But never want you to feel "womansplained" to so rest assured we won't jump in or offer any advice unless YOU want it.

Can pull behind a bike trailer or bring a camper? RV? Toy Hauler? Large van? No, we cannot accommodate trailers, RVS, Vans that do not fit in a regular parking spot, or Toy Haulers as the space is way small and there is no room anywhere on the property for large vans, monster trucks, or towed vehicles to be stored. It's tiny! 

What's up with parking? We have limited space so all cars / trucks will be moved along the outside of the property in a set back area away from the street no matter if you are staying in the cabins or camping. If your vehicle isn't used for sleeping in, know it will parked on the outside. Make sure doors are locked and windows up, we suggest no valuables inside. Babes in the Dirt / Outpost is not responsible for lost or stolen items so be mindful even though the area is safe <3 

I am only coming for 1 night, not eating, not sharing my cabin, etc. do I get a discount? Sorry! All accommodations & expenses are set with no room for discounts due to the many line items it takes to make this incredible weekend possible. 

Can I rip up for the day and join in on a ride with you? Only if you have an admission ticket. This is a private event for those who paid for the experience,  with limited # of spaces per riding group to keep it safe, fun, and manageable.

Can I share my camping space with someone? Can we add more people to the cabin even though it has a limit? No, camping is for (1) person as food, trails guides, medics, accommodation fees etc. is factored in to the cost per person. This is the same for the cabin capacity limits, thank you for understanding! 

Can I get a refund? No, sadly we rented out the space and have to pay for it no matter what so please don't buy a spot if you are even slightly unsure if you can attend or the type that will demand a refund due to any personal circumstances preventing you from attending. We know it's a lot of $ for this all-inclusive weekend and we'd hate for you to be bummed on this strict policy. We do suggest the added the 3rd party insurance at check out, please read the fine print. 

Can I transfer my accommodation to another rider? Yes! You are able to transfer your accommodation or ticket to another rider. Just know if they have dietary restrictions / different size we won't be able to accommodate those requests as meal planning etc. are done far in advance.  

What is up with food and water? Meals that will be included are listed above. Bring your own water for your camel packs! We will have beers and a few extras but please bring whatever you need to stay happy, full, and non hangry. Each cabin has a kitchen with fridge, stovetop, cookware. Campsites do not have access to cooking devices however, a small propane stove is allowed. 

I want to shoot, take video, do a social media takeover for this event for a brand, magazine, online editorial, etc. Or use photos you send us after the event to promote a brand. Do I need permission? Sorry, unless you are a brand who is a part of the event, we are not allowing any coverage as its a private event. Feel free to post on your own social and snap photos for yourself but we kindly ask you do not send any of our images to other companies not associated with Babes Ride Out or Babes in the Dirt  :) 

Can I bring my boyfriend or husband? This is geared for the gals.

Can I bring my kids and pets? Nope, the event is not kid / pet friendly :( 

Are ID's required or an age limit to enter the event? Must be 21+ with M1  or street permit to attend. Riders with M1 permit only are not allowed to legally go on the night ride. 

What CAN'T I bring to the event? Weapons, signage, flags, banners, fireworks, pets, kids, a bad or an "I know best / better rider" attitude, hand-outs for a brand or marketing materials of any kind. This is a chill space with no room for ego, womensplaining, or overall negative or combative vibes. 

I don't want to leave! Can I stay another night & get some lake time in on Sunday? Sure! If you want to stay an extra night. You'd need to contact the Out Post @ [email protected] in advance. 

I am transgender, transitioning, non-binary, am I still welcome to come? 100% yes! “Geared for the Gals” is the best we have found to make it clear who this event is dedicated to. We understand that gender is fluid and trust that the moto community can make the distinction as they have over our past 10 years hosting the events. 

 Zero Tolerance: All Babes Ride Out & Babes in the Dirt events have a zero-tolerance policy for any hate speech or violence whatsoever. We have never had a problem with this at any of our events but we feel that it is important to reiterate that racism, homophobia, bigotry, aggressive behavior towards anyone and/or anything that resembles it is not welcome ever at any of our events.
